Our Vision
A new class of security that is wireless, portable and private by design — easy enough for a family, strong enough for a campus, and built in India for everyone.
XO Sense is building a new class of security — one that doesn't just record what happens, but understands it, and tells you in plain words.
Engineers, operators and company-builders from different generations of the country's premier institutes — across cybersecurity, AI, business building and energy.
Vikram Kumar is an IIT Kharagpur alumnus with 16+ years across AI, cybersecurity and social development. He founded Data Resolve Technologies, a cybersecurity venture, led the XPRIZE Water project and worked at Wadhwani AI on real-world AI deployment. As Founder of XO Sense, he is reimagining physical security with an AI-native, sensor-first architecture.
Ravi Shankar Sharma is an IIT Kharagpur alumnus and business leader with 20+ years in business building, strategy, operations and technology platforms. He has worked across agriculture, food, supply chains and digital commerce, with leadership roles at ONDC, Digital Green and Zomato. As Co-founder, he contributes to strategy, partnerships and growth.
Sanjeev Sinha is an industry veteran with 36+ years of experience across India and the USA, and several prestigious awards. An IIT Kharagpur graduate with a US MBA, he is a certified independent director with Board Leadership in AI training from NUS Singapore. As Board Adviser, he brings technology, AI and energy expertise to build partnerships and accelerate growth.
We imagine a world where every home, shop, farm, campus and stretch of road is quietly looked after — with fewer false alarms, no tangled cables, and your data protected by controls you can trust. Security should feel like a trusted person who knows the place: calm when all is well, clear and quick when it isn't.

XO Sense Private Limited is a deep-tech company from Ranchi, Jharkhand. We create the devices, the intelligence inside them and the software that ties them together — all under one roof. Our intelligence layer is SecuraSense.
Our team spans cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, hardware engineering and building companies. We have shipped products, run installations in heat, dust and patchy connectivity, and earned the trust of data-sensitive organisations.
Processed at the edge first and in the cloud where it adds value — always under established processes and controls that follow the DPDP Act and other privacy laws.
We build the hard parts ourselves — firmware to models to platform — instead of stitching together black boxes.
An alert should mean something. We'd rather miss a false alarm than bury a real one.
Real-time, offline-capable, low-power. Intelligence belongs where the signals live.
Shipping a device that thinks on its own means owning the whole stack — silicon to screen.
Node boards, power budgets and embedded code that has to run unattended for months at a time.
Perception models compressed to fit constrained silicon without giving up the accuracy that makes them useful.
The self-hosted layer that stitches fleets together — storage, streaming, alerting and access control.
Real installs in real conditions. Dust, heat, bad power and worse Wi-Fi are part of the spec.
We design, prototype and test from Jharkhand — building for Indian conditions first, then everywhere else. Hardware gets validated where it will actually be deployed, not in a lab that flatters it.
Our Made-in-India StoryXO Sense didn't start with a product — it started with a question: can genuinely private, reliable security intelligence run at the edge? The years since are the answer, built one hard problem at a time in Ranchi.
We started where most security systems fail — false alarms and cloud dependence. Early research focused on sensor fusion and low-false-alarm detection: combining independent signals into one calibrated, trustworthy decision.
Months of hands-on node sourcing and testing — every sensing modality we could find — to learn what actually survives dust, weather, darkness and time. That work became the XO Nodes catalog.
Getting real perception models to run inside a small edge box meant quantising them to fit a tiny memory and power budget without losing accuracy. This became the seeing half of XO Core.
A detection is only useful if a human understands it. Our LLM development turned raw events into contextual, plain-language alerts — so an alert reads like a person telling you what happened, not a string of sensor codes.
The pieces came together into a simple architecture: one XO Server running XO Core as the brain — or XO Cloud for distributed sites — and many modular XO Nodes as the senses. Mix and match for any space.
Years of research now ship as three deployments — XO Indoor, XO Perimeter and XO Mobile — private, edge-first security built in India and made to travel anywhere.
We believe the next generation of security hardware can be designed and built in India — and trusted around the world.
Frontier AI hardware doesn't have to be bought from abroad — it can be engineered here, end to end.
Strict controls over where data lives and who can reach it keep a nation's data in its own hands — a strategic advantage, not just a feature.
From firmware to models to hardware, building the full stack in-house is how real capability compounds.
We're proving deep-tech leadership can start in Jharkhand and reach a global market.
